Join the vibrant community of ACE Alumni and dedicated volunteers who wholeheartedly support the mission of Aviation Career Enrichment, Inc. Nestled at Fulton County Airport, ACE has been a beacon of inspiration since its inception in 1980 by Julius Alexander. Under the stewardship of Julius and Starr Rogers, and subsequently led by Patrick Alexander since 2022, ACE has nurtured countless aviation enthusiasts, shaping them into successful professionals. 

Our roots in the ACE weekend program have fostered invaluable skills and professionalism, driving our commitment to maintaining a strong connection with the organization. Through Alumni gatherings, scholarships for aspiring students, mentorship initiatives, and hosting ACE programs, we ensure that the spirit of excellence and camaraderie thrives within our community.

With a proud legacy of producing over 50 airline and military pilots, alongside numerous aviation professionals including mechanics, air traffic controllers, drone pilots, and meteorologists, ACE continues to be a driving force in the aviation industry. Join ACE Alumni as we come together to not only preserve our cherished connections but to ensure that the ACE legacy flourishes for generations to come.

Anya Kearns headshot

Anya Kearns, President

Anya Kearns is a 2009 ACE alumna from Marietta, GA. She attended Marietta High while diving into aviation. After graduating with a dual major from Middle Georgia State University, she soared as a Flight Instructor at Falcon Aviation Academy. Anya's journey continued as a First Officer at Freight Runners Express, Cape Air, and Endeavor Air until Delta welcomed her in 2020. During the COVID challenges, she found temporary employment in Hawaii as a Captain at Ohana by Hawaiian and Lanai Air. Upon returning to Delta, she took the opportunity to upgrade to Captain in 2022. For Anya, ACE laid the groundwork for her self-belief, lifelong support, and professional success in aviation.

Craig Wolfork, Vice President

Craig Woolfork, an ACE attendee from 1994-2004, is from College Park, GA. After graduating from Westlake High School in 2004, he pursued Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, earning his degree in 2007. Craig began his career as a Flight Instructor at Embry-Riddle and interned as a Flight Test Engineer at Raytheon Aircraft Company. He piloted for ASA and GoJet before Delta welcomed him in 2016. Achieving Captain status in November 2021, Craig attributes his success to ACE, cherishing lifelong memories and a supportive network that propelled him to his dream role at Delta Air Lines.

Kyle Foley, Treasurer

From 2001 to 2006, Kyle Foley immersed himself in the Aviation Career Enrichment (ACE) program, ignited by his love for aviation since childhood. Under Mr. Julius Alexander's guidance, he soloed at 16 and earned his Private Pilot’s License at 17. Dedicated weekends at the ACE Academy bonded Kyle with peers and instilled high academic standards. Recognized by a U.S. Air Force Academy recruiter through ACE, Kyle pursued a military career, flying missions worldwide. Transitioning to Delta Air Lines after 11 years, Kyle credits ACE for nurturing his dream, providing vital mentorship, and fostering a community of aspiring Black pilots who made his aspirations feel achievable.

Cayman Howard, Membership Director

Cayman Howard is an Atlanta native and ACE Alumni. Cayman attended ACE on the weekends during high school, which is where his love for aviation began. While attending college at Atlanta Metropolitan State College, he accepted the opportunity to finish his training in Phoenix, Arizona. During this time, Cayman realized his love for instruction as a Flight Instructor for three years. In 2021, Cayman was honored to begin his airline career flying for JetBlue Airways as a First Officer. Today, he is excited about the next step in his career.

ACE Alumni is dedicated to supporting the next generation by providing invaluable mentorship and scholarships. Our commitment is to nurture aspiring aviators, empowering them to soar to new heights in their aerospace careers.

Through our Open House and Flightline Program, we welcome our community to explore the ACE world. Hosted annually by the ACE Alumni Association, these events bridge the gap between enthusiasts and professionals.
